Snow and Ice

Hello! Hope everyone had a fabulous break! I know I did! This week we've learning about snow and ice! We read the book The Snowy Day. In small groups we made an ice catcher; we put some pom poms, straws, crayons, etc into a bowl of water then froze it! We will hang it up outside then everyday you can see if something has fallen out of the ice catcher! We used tongs to count snow balls and we mixed together flour, salt, and water to make paintable snow! We also found our Santa Slime so we played with that for a while! We heard about every present they got! Today was a fun catching-up day! See you tomorrow, Ms. Ashley
