Letter O and Snow/Ice

I didn't get yesterday's blog done so I'm combining it with today's blog!

Yesterday we learned the letter O! We sang our alphabet song and learned to finger spell the letter O. In small groups we practiced writing O's with glued an O over and put Olaf in the middle, we wrote O's in shaving cream, and we picked items out of an O tub!

Today we asked the kiddos if they liked snow or ice better? It was a pretty close but I think snow took the lead! We read the book There Was A Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow. In small groups we used hammers to pound ice cubes to free the frozen bug inside, we tore paper then glued a snowman face on it, and we sorted buttons! We also hung up our ice catcher that we made on Monday! The kids have been watching it all day! See you tomorrow, Ms. Ashley
