Winter animals
Today we read the book The Emperor's Egg. Our morning question was about what penguins do on the ice. After the book we answered questions about what penguins do! In small groups we painted with colored ice, we matched winter animals, and we made a bird feeder to see what kind of winter birds didn't fly away! The bird feeders are simply made from biscuit dough and bird seed; they are already baked, tied to a string, and they are completely safe for birds/squirrels to eat! Tomorrow at circle we cannot wait to hear where you hung the bird feeders at!
