Polar Animals

Today we read the book Footprints in the Snow. In small groups we traced a rabbit cutout, cut it out, and glued cotton balls on it! We made penguins and we tested out how lard keeps animals warm in the winter! First we dipped our fingers in ice cold water then put on a glove and dipped it in lard!
