Nocturnal Animals!

This week we will be learning about nocturnal animals! Today we talked about owls. We read the book The Best Nest. In small groups we made hand prints that looked like owls, we matched big and little owls, and we listened like owls do in the wild to try to figure out what was inside some containers. In our classroom we have a bat cave, so some of the kiddos colored our bat cave to make it darker!  We also have bugs in our sensory table and we talked about how some nocturnal animals eat bugs.  We also had our Star of the Week's grandparents here! She also showed us two of her favorite horses! It was a great day! Ms. Ashley
