More nocturnal animals!

Today was a lot of fun! We read the book While the World is Sleeping and learned there are a lot of animals that sleep during the day! In our small groups we pretended to be a fox! We used our noses like a fox does and tried to figure out what is was they were smelling! We had lemon juice, perfume, vanilla, and pickle juice to smell! In another group we talked about porcupines! Our porcupines were naked so we glued toothpicks on them for quills! Lastly, we practiced jumping like a rabbit! We put our feet together and measured how far we could jump! Our Star of the Week showed her nursery rhyme book, a pink Iowa Hawkeye's hat, and another horse! She also had her Daddy come eat lunch with her! We had a really fun day! See everyone tomorrow!
