Today, we read T. Rex And The Mother's Day Hug. Happy (early) Mother's Day! The kiddos loved making special gifts for their moms. We used our patterning skills by naming the patterns on letters that we chose. These letters were used to to spell "Mom." While in another group we colored on a piece of tissue paper. Later, each of us took our tissue paper to Ms. Toni and she helped us make a special gift for our moms! We took the tissue paper that we colored and put it around a white candle. Then, we put another tissue paper around the candle and blow dried around the candle. This transferred our special picture onto the candle! Pretty cool! Finally, we played in the classroom, in the motor room, and had some play-dough time! Thank you Ms. Ashley for prepping everything for us for the past couple of days! Have a great weekend, Ms. Ashley will be back on Monday, Ms. Adrienne.
