Cinco De Mayo

Today we learned about Cinco De Mayo! We watched two videos about Cinco De Mayo; the kids laughed at how they dance and sing! One student said, "Mexico looks fun!" In small groups we made maracas and they danced with them, we drew a picture and glue cacti on it, then we made guacamole and tried it! Not one kiddo liked it! The teachers did though! Some kiddos didn't even want to mash it because they said it looked "yucky" or "gross"! Today was a fun day! Ms. Stacy has been making Mexican dishes to go along with it too! We had quesadillas for breakfast, enchiladas for lunch, and we will have sopapillas for snack! See you tomorrow for dinosaurs! Ms. Ashley
