Water Animals

This is our last day learning about water animals! Today we read the book Deep Down in the Deep Blue Sea. In small groups we made a fish handprint then sprinkled sand on it and drew bubbles, we played a duck shape game, and we made jelly fish slime! We are closed for spring break next week so see you after Easter! Ms. Ashley

Tadpoles!

Today we read the book The Teeny Weeny Tadpole. In small groups we made a frog headband, we out the life cycle of a frog in order, and we made a frog number book! Our Star of the week shared her board with us today! Have a great afternoon, Ms. Ashley.

Letter X

Today we learned the letter X! We sang our alphabet song and learned to finger spell the letter X. In small groups we made an x-ray like picture by putting paint on one side and rubbing it then told what it looked like, we practiced writing X's on the dry erase board, and we pulled out items that had an X in their name! Swim, Swim

Today we read the book Swim, Swim. In small groups we experimented what would sink and what would float, we finger painted around a fish then took the fish off so it looked like an outline, and we matched fish that were drawn on milk caps! Have a great evening and see you tomorrow, Ms. Ashley

Water Animals

We're learning about water animals this week! Today we read the book Hooray for Fish!. In small groups we practiced fishing for fish with numbers on them, we talked about how sand is by water so we mixed sand into our play dough, then we painted with fishing poles! Fun! Clouds!

Today is our last day learning about weather! We read the book Clouds. In small groups we made cloud dough with flour and baby oil! That was fun to play in! We also used puffy paint to paint a cloud and told what we thought it looked like! Our Star of the week shared her board with us today! Have a great weekend, Ms. Ashley

Wind!

Today we read the book Wind. In small groups we matched kites with shapes and numbers on them, we blew paint around like the wind would, and we watched a tornado in a bottle! Fun day! See you tomorrow, Ms. Ashley.
