All about me

Today we read the book Who Wears Glasses? In small groups we used a balloon to make fiction in our hair and talked about which way we like our hair, we measured ourselves to see who was tallest and shortest, then we drew a picture of ourselves! Today was fun! We are closed on Monday for Labor Day, see you on Tuesday! Ms. Ashley

I like Myself!

Today we read the book I Like Myself! In small groups we made an I like page and cut out items from a magazine that I like, we used the geoboards to make shapes, and we used the Ipad to change our faces! We talked about how we like ourselves better than how we looked in the pictures! Fun day! Ms. Ashley

England!

Today we learned about England! We read the book The Marshmallow Incident. In small groups we colored a picture then cut it on the lines, we pretended to make a scone that Ms. Stacy will bake for snack, and we played a crown matching game! See you tomorrow, Ms. Ashley

 

Big Bodies

Today we read the book Silly Milly! Instead of small groups; today, we did just one large group! We made our bodies! The kids did such a good job decorating their bodies and they worked on them for such a long time! They turned out so good! We're so proud of them! Ms. Ashley

 

 

All About Me!

Today we read the book I Like Myself! In small groups we made an all about me book, we sorted healthy and unhealthy food, then we did an activity with our fingerprints! We welcomed another new friend! See you tomorrow, Ms. Ashley

The Kissing Hand

Today we read the book The Kissing Hand. In small groups we made our own kissing hand; we traced, cut, glued, and painted then the teacher wrote what we love on it! We matched moms and babies together like the mom and baby raccoon in the book and we made our own raccoon out of hearts! It was a busy day! Have a fabulous weekend! Ms. Ashley
